We have a brand-new role for a National Account Manager to join our Intermediary Sales team here at Nottingham Building Society. This role will work alongside our newly promoted Sales Director to maintain and develop new relationships with Key Broker Accounts, Networks and Mortgage Clubs and bringing Nottingham Building Society’s financially diverse and inclusive offering to the forefront of the mortgage industry. We are looking for someone who has extensive experience building and maintaining relationships with Mortgage Clubs and Networks. You will elevate and promote the NBS brand at events and conferences, making sure that Nottingham Building Society is a lender of choice for Brokers for our target customer base. You will be passionate about our proposition and will use external relationships across the lending marketplace to ensure we move with the market and are aware of opportunities.
Here’s a taste of what you will be doing as National Account Manager at Nottingham Building Society: -
- Be the key point of contact for Key Accounts, Mortgage Clubs and Networks ensuring that customer service is always at the heart of everything we do.
- Carry out regular review meetings with key contacts at Clubs, Networks and Key Accounts to build strong relationships, grow market share and identify new opportunities.
- Influence and engage with senior colleagues, using market expertise to lead and help shape new propositions to transform Nottingham Building Society from mainstream lender into one with bespoke and specialist lending propositions.
- Work with our Marketing team to organise and attend Industry events, managing budget and ensuring new business growth in line with business goals.
- Use data and MI to support with strategy planning and monitor performance, understanding the right clubs, networks and accounts to focus on.
- Support the Sales Director in the creation of the distribution strategy by broad expertise across the market to grow and influence the key objectives.
About you: -
- Strong knowledge of the mortgage market and experience in managing strategic relationships with National/Key Accounts within Mortgages / Lending.
- A passion for driving an inclusive culture, continuous development mindset and promoting a high-performance environment.
- Proven success in establishing and maintaining key, trusted relationships and exhibiting advanced influencing skills with all levels, both internal and external.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement with experience in engaging cross functional teams in new ways of working.
- You will require a full driving license, this role requires travel across the country to attend events, Clubs and Networks.
