We have a brand-new opportunity to join our Digital Marketing team as a UX Manager! This is a completely new role for the Society emphasising the importance of our continued investment in evolving our digital capability as part of our new strategy and digital transformation!

As the UX Manager, you'll be at the forefront of this evolution, driving our user experience strategy for our digital products. Working closely with our Digital Product Manager, developers, external partners and stakeholders, you'll craft user-centred designs to meet business objectives and transform our customer experience.

This is a brilliant role for a hands-on, customer and people focused individual passionate about creating exceptional digital experiences.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing as a UX Manager at The Nottingham: -

  • Define and implement a UX strategy that aligns with our new strategy and business objectives; you will collaborate with our Digital Product Manager, CRM manager, and other stakeholders to understand user needs, business requirements, and market trends
  • Work alongside our insights team in conducting user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and validate solutions
  • Oversee the end-to-end design process, from concept to delivery, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience; provide design direction and ensure the creation of intuitive, visually appealing, and accessible user interfaces
  • Review and approve design deliverables to ensure they meet UX standards and project requirements
  • Work closely with the Digital Product Owner and developers, to integrate UX design into the overall product development process
  • Collaborate with marketing teams and external partners to ensure brand consistency and a seamless user experience across all touchpoints
  • Advocate for user-centric design principles and best practices within the organisation
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and enhance the user experience through journey optimisation
  • Encourage and facilitate a culture of learning and skill development within the team and stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX design

About you: –

  • Relevant experience as a UX Designer / Manager (or within a similar role)
  • Experience optimising digital products to improve user experience
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Sketch or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Strong knowledge of user-centric design principles and methodologies
  • A creative thinker, a collaboration mindset and a customer centric approach
