Location: Head Office, Nottingham (hybrid working, 2 days a week onsite)

Salary: £60000 - £70000

Due to internal development / progression we have an exciting opportunity to join The Nottingham Building Society as a Finance Transformation Manager.

We are seeking a curious and innovative individual to take on the role of leading and spearheading transformation within our Ledgers, FP&A, Regulatory / Financial Reporting, and Treasury teams. The key focus for this position is to enhance efficiency, elevate automation, and achieve successful project outcomes and process enhancements.

You will provide strategic representation from the Finance department for the Society's cross-functional projects and workstreams. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive positive change and contribute to our continuous improvement efforts and organisational transformation.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing as a Finance Transformation Manager at The Nottingham:-

  • Lead end-to-end Finance projects through the whole project lifecycle from defining requirements to BAU handover.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and represent Finance in cross functional projects.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team and wider functions to innovate processes, enhance data quality and support the implementation of solutions.
  • Establish, maintain, and review operating policies and process notes to ensure that they are sufficiently robust to adequately safeguard the Society’s assets.
  • Lead on the identification and evaluation of technologies that have to potential to increase efficiency and improve insight across the Finance function.
  • Document new processes and enhancements; engage and train impacted colleagues in new ways of working.
  • Provide project oversight to Finance leadership keeping them informed to support with decision-making, planning and any required escalation. Top of Form

About you: -

You will be a customer-centric and results-driven Finance professional with a passion for innovation and change.

We are looking for a qualified accountant with experience in project and change management. You will have experience in system implementation, and a proven track record of cultivating key relationships and exhibiting advanced influencing skills across all levels.

You will be highly collaborative with a strong ability to engage and motive teams and stakeholders.
