    We’re hiring! A Mortgage Serving Team Leader!

    You’ll support the Mortgage Servicing Manager in delivering the Society’s purpose, helping to drive outstanding customer experiences and high levels of satisfaction through exceptional service to both internal and external customers.

     

    Here’s a taste of what you will be doing as a Mortgage Servicing Team Leader at Nottingham Building Society: - 

    • Act as a positive role model, demonstrating mortgage servicing excellence and setting high standards across the team
    • Deliver consistently efficient, professional customer service on all mortgage‑related activity, in line with policies and procedures
    • Train, motivate, and support the team to ensure strong performance and productivity
    • Line Manager Mortgage Support Representatives with a focus on coaching and development
    • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in partnership with the Mortgage Servicing Manager
    • Ensure all work is fully compliant with internal and external standards, rules, and policies
    • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and resolve complex queries
    • Deputise for the Mortgage Servicing Manager as required
    • Review and enhance processes to maintain the highest service standards
    • Work within agreed budgets, targets, and objectives

       

       

       

      About you: - 

    • Strong knowledge of The Nottingham’s policies, procedures, core systems, and regulatory requirements (including MCOB and Land Law), with an understanding of Broker and Solicitor Panel criteria
    • Professional, enthusiastic, and customer‑focused communicator with a calm and welcoming approach
    • Self‑motivated team player, able to demonstrate best practice while supporting and coaching colleagues, including new starters
    • Highly organised, detail‑driven, and proactive, with strong planning and workload management skills
