    You will be a specialist and trusted advisor in resource management and portfolio-level strategy. By maintaining a centralised and strategic overview of resource capacity, capabilities, and allocations, you will drive effective decision-making across the business. Collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, you will influence and shape resource allocation to optimise organisational impact. Your role will involve ensuring resource data integrity, proactively evaluating programme and project demands, and aligning these with capacity to deliver seamless, business-wide outcomes.

    Here’s a taste of what you will be doing as a Senior Planning and Resource Lead at Nottingham Building Society: -

    • Keep Resource Systems Fresh: Ensure all resource management systems are up-to-date with allocations for both daily tasks and projects.
    • Framework for Success: Define and maintain a resource portfolio management framework for effective decision-making.
    • Adapt and Thrive: Manage and adjust portfolio priorities as organisational needs evolve.
    • Resource Gatekeeper: Collaborate with stakeholders to allocate the right resources for new demands.
    • Risk Buster: Identify and mitigate resource risks across all projects and programmes.
    • Continuous Improvement: Lead and enhance resource management processes, embedding new practices as needed.
    • Insightful Reporting: Produce insightful management information to inform committees about status, risks, and opportunities, optimising resource allocation.

    About you: -

    • Portfolio & Resource Planning: Proven experience in managing portfolios and resources.
    • Stakeholder Management: Excellent skills in managing stakeholders.
    • Analytical Skills: Strong abilities to analyse and interpret data.
    • Programme & Project Delivery: Solid understanding of delivery functions.
    • Adaptability: Flexible in fast-paced, complex environments.
    • Teamwork & Independence: Effective both independently and as part of a team.
    • Leadership: Leading peers and management in resource planning.
