    We’re hiring a Head of Savings Analytics and Forecasting! In this key role, you’ll be responsible for forecasting our savings portfolio and providing in-depth analytical and modelling insights. Your work will play a vital role in shaping our strategy and developing innovative propositions.

    Here’s a taste of what you will be doing as a Head of Savings Analytics and Forecasting! at Nottingham Building Society: -

    • Guide cross-functional teams and directly manage key initiatives to support the business plan. Work closely with external markets and senior internal stakeholders, including ExCo, to ensure our strategies are competitive and customer focused.
    • Forecast our savings portfolio and identify opportunities to optimize the funding mix, always within our risk appetite. You’ll collaborate closely with the Savings Product & Pricing teams, as well as Finance and Treasury.
    • Design and build savings models to understand customer behaviour and price elasticity of demand. Leverage insights from the Customer Insight team to inform strategic decisions and develop propositions.
    • Stay ahead of market conditions and trends to anticipate customer needs and stay ahead of competitors.
    • Oversee the accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of all savings data, working closely with our central Data team.
    • Stay informed about the regulatory environment, ensuring we’re always ahead of the curve when it comes to threats and opportunities.
    • Support key reporting to the Pricing Committee, ALCO, and Executive Committees, ensuring timely and relevant updates.
    • Lead and Inspire the Savings Analytics team, guiding them through change and delivering quality initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Cultivate a culture of effective leadership, providing clear priorities and regular feedback to your team. You’ll manage performance conversations and development reviews to ensure your team thrives.
    • Develop and support your team’s growth, ensuring they maintain the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed. You’ll also foster a supportive, inclusive environment that promotes wellbeing and team development.
    • Champion a culture of customer-centricity, ensuring customer-led design is central to your team’s performance.
    • Stay aware of operational and regulatory risks and work to mitigate any issues related to savings products and propositions. As part of this, ensure that risk and compliance frameworks are followed to maintain business continuity.

     

    About you: -

    • A strong people leader, with excellent relationship and influencing skills, strong financial acumen and a comprehensive understanding of Consumer Duty and Conduct Risk requirements.
    • Deep understanding of savings products and propositions and the UK savings market landscape.
    • Strong track record in managing and leading people, resulting in quality business delivery outcomes and tangible personal growth and development of colleagues
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams
    • Have held a similar senior position within the financial services sector
    • Have a strong personal drive and commercial and strategic mindset
